Why does crime catch them young?
Two students from a Barakhamba school were caught smoking school officials think its cannabis but turns out to be tobacco. ·16 yr old student hits a cyclist after racing at the speed of 200 kmph on his father’s luxury sedan. ·Two school students are taped on a camera-phone indulging. This video is seen by several people shocking everyone: educationists, parents, teachers and the media. ·The rape and murder of a 72-year-old helpless woman by three youths, one of them just 16.
The teenage rebel is getting younger more likely to be in age group of 13 to 16 than in late teens. Explanations are plenty. The Psychiatrist views are that young teenagers are being increasingly exposed to the negative aspects that society, TV and internet beams to them. Therapist says children are ‘growing-up’ faster with more children expressing grown up questions at a younger age. Lastly school principal feels its about Parental neglect and control.
So where do you think the reason lies and how do we address it before the future shocks us all.
